Terms of service
These terms govern quotes, device submissions, inspections, payouts, and general use of the iPhone Buyer platform.
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Using The Service
These terms apply when you request a quote, ship or hand off a device, accept a revised offer, or otherwise use iPhone Buyer. By using the service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to sell the device involved in the transaction.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use the service on behalf of a business or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.
Quotes And Price Locks
Quotes are estimates based on the device details you provide during checkout. A quote is not final until the device is received, inspected, and confirmed to match the submitted model, storage, carrier status, condition, and functionality.
If a device is shipped late, arrives in a different condition, includes mismatched specifications, or cannot be fully evaluated from the information you submitted, iPhone Buyer may issue a revised offer or decline the transaction.
Your Device Responsibilities
Before shipping or presenting a device for pickup, you are responsible for removing personal data, disabling device locks, signing out of cloud accounts, and performing any factory reset needed to transfer the device safely.
You should only send the device itself unless we expressly instruct otherwise. Cases, chargers, cables, SIM cards, memory cards, and other loose accessories may not be tracked or returned.
Eligibility And Rejections
We may refuse, return, or recycle items that are not the device described during checkout or that we cannot lawfully or operationally purchase. This includes devices that are reported lost or stolen, account locked, remotely managed, counterfeit, financed, leased, materially damaged beyond the submitted description, or not supported by our program.
If a device is rejected and return shipping or handling charges apply, those charges must be paid before the device is returned. If required charges remain unpaid for the stated response period, the item may be recycled or otherwise disposed of in a commercially reasonable way.
Shipping, Pickup, And Risk Of Loss
When a prepaid label is provided, you are still responsible for packaging the device securely, following any labeling instructions, and retaining proof of drop-off. Failure to follow shipping instructions can affect claim handling and payout eligibility.
For pickup transactions, you are responsible for having the correct device available during the selected time window. Missed appointments, inaccessible addresses, or last-minute changes may delay or cancel the transaction.
Inspection And Revised Offers
All devices are subject to inspection after receipt or handoff. If the inspection confirms that the device matches the submitted information, the quoted amount may be processed. If it does not match, a revised offer may be issued based on the actual device received.
If you do not respond to a revised offer within the response period communicated in the notice, we may treat the revised offer according to the policy shown at the time of the transaction, including cancellation or deemed acceptance if clearly disclosed in the transaction flow.
Payment
Payout timing may depend on inspection, fraud review, shipping completion, and the payment method selected. Third-party payment providers may apply their own holds, verification rules, or transaction fees, and those provider-side policies are outside our control.
If a payment method requires account details, you are responsible for providing a valid destination. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by incorrect account information supplied by you.
Limits, Disputes, And Updates
To the fullest extent allowed by law, iPhone Buyer is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service, shipment issues outside our control, data left on a device, or third-party processor actions. Any direct liability will be limited to the amount paid or payable for the specific device transaction giving rise to the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page will control future transactions after publication. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
